April Fool's Joke Part Deux - Robert Reich Asks If The Federal Reserve Acted Unconstitutionally And Questions The Fed's Legitimacy

There is a reason Robert Reich has been on my link list since he started blogging. And a reason why he is the only other blogger in my link list. It's called virtue and a general lack of political & economic ideology. I respect public servants who earn the respect of society. Reich is generally a progressive but that isn't a dirty word as most ideologues on the far right would have us believe. As I stated before, Thomas Jefferson was a progressive. Progressivism is not some march to communism regardless of what Glenn Beck erroneously reports when he isn't taking his medication. I actually like Glenn Beck but I think most would admit he is sometimes a little loose with reality when he's tripping. I have equal admiration for many conservative political leaders. Sheila Bair and Ron Paul are two. I just generally like people who attempt some level of genuineness and compassion, a character flaw developed by my deep-seeded distrust of anyone who would sell their virtues for a vote or a lobbyist donation.

That we now have a mainstream political voice questioning the Federal Reserve is a very good thing. It takes guts and character to go against the status quo. To challenge the system which provides your economic nourishment. I think we used to call that leadership. Something that is sorely lacking in our society.

As I have stated many times, I do not have a problem with a Federal Reserve. I have a problem with a private banking system. The Federal Reserve is secret because it is involved and partially controlled by a cabal of private bankers. There would be absolutely no reason for any monetary policy to be secretive were we to have a public banking system and a Federal Reserve reporting to the United States Treasury.

As far as I am concerned, I want Wall Street out of our economy all together. These fraudulent bastards have played the last trick they will ever play on the American people as far as I'm concerned. I have made it my personal mission to never rest till the American people, the sovereign people of this country, kill the beast. Permanently. (Obviously metaphorically speaking. We abhor all violence. Dissent is served through peaceful activism.)
