Senator Russ Feingold: Standing Up To The Unholy Alliance Between Washington And Wall Street

Unholy indeed. There would be no unholy alliance of Washington and Wall Street with public banking administered Of the people, by the people, for the people. Some perspectives are often based on lessons learned throughout history regarding the timeless corruption of power. Maybe Sharia Law with regards to banking is one of them. Is the goal of democratic banking meant to enable the advancement of democratic principles and the empowerment of all citizens in a democracy or for the benefit of a corrupt handful of bureaucrats most willing to sell their mothers into prostitution? Forcing people who have lost their jobs out of their homes, driving people into bankruptcy for terminal medical conditions and the like is no different. Of course, Lloyd reminds us this is God's work. Speaking of unholy alliance, Lucifer would be proud.

Banking profits are a tax on society. They are no different than a tax levied by the government. It's quite easy to deduce how completely silly our President's remarks are regarding how low our taxes are. They are low because 40 million people are on food stamps. Factoring in the tax of capital-consuming industries backed by the state, including newly mandated and bloated health care, our taxes have never been higher in the history of this country. And with government's percentage of GDP going up at an all ready record rate, we aren't moving in the right direction. We are now closer to the economic model of the Soviet Union as opposed to that of what made America the economic engine of the world. Government serves a very important purpose but becoming the economy is not one of them. The burden of usury and taxes today are much higher than those imposed on the profligate and corrupt English empire in the years leading up to the American Revolution. Something to remember as we near the celebration of our break from the tyranny of elitist crooks. Today the status quo embraces the brilliance of our Wall Street masters who are simply timelessy incompetent mafiosos making a living bilking our government and our society while hiding behind the constant bailouts of the Federal Reserve. Our banking system is morally corrupt and serves no purpose in a democracy.

July 4, 1776.......... Stage your own bloodless revolution by voting the crooks out. And end the unholy alliance by bringing back public banking. Let private financial institutions compete without the back stop of the Federal Reserve for retail and consumer credit. You want to buy a TV from Best Buy? You can finance it with Goldman Sachs. Hopefully, they can at least get revolving consumer credit right since they can't do anything else right. You want to run a business and create capital and jobs? Do it with interest-free or low interest loans via a public banking system whose goal is to enable democracy and a functioning society and not to line the pockets of incompetent bureaucrats.
