AIG - Do We Need Parents To School Washington On How To Manage These Bailout Programs? Seriously.

If it weren't so sad, you would have to laugh at the endless stupidity associated with this crisis. It's amazing to me that politicians are supposedly throwing fits at the actions of financial firms receiving bailouts yet said politicians are too stupid or too beholden to Wall Street to stop it. Washington is the enabler to Wall Street's antics. For God's sake, would someone in Washington learn how to govern?

Why is this any different than a parent giving a child an allowance without any rules on how to spend it, then being surprised when the kids spend their money at the candy store. Looks like Wall Street likes the candy store as well.

What's the moral of the story? Maybe we should replace many of the idiots in Washington with someone more qualified - that would be responsible parents who know how to regulate the behavior of their children.
