Sheila Bair's Op-Ed - The Case Against A Single Bankster Regulator So Desired By Wall Street And Washington Elite

Sheila Bair, head of the FDIC, writes an op-ed in the New York Times today. Bair seems to me to be the most capable of the Washington cabal of incompetence. And she was actual in front of some of these messes in her public views. The op-ed is a very worthwhile read. As we have discussed on here before, we are against a single or super regulator for the banking system. This idea is no doubt an idea of corruption and influence by the banksters as opposed to what is best for main street America. A single regulator would contribute to the continued destruction of the American economy as we have discussed re community banking and the localization recovery dynamics which must develop to rebuild the American economy.
