Pelosi's Answer To Our Economic Woes: Put Our Entire Country On Unemployment. We Are Headed In That Direction With This Morning's Employment Report.

You had to know the jobs report this morning was going to be pathetic because the President was out campaigning this week about the evils of the Republican party. All the Republicans want to do is block the President from implementing his brilliant economic plans. I'm sure he had some advance indication all of the egocentric political rhetoric he has been heaping on the American people about an economic recovery was going to exposed by today's employment report. So, what does a politician do? Start campaigning to limit the damage. While indeed the Washington Republicans are generally as evil as their Democratic counterparts, the President now owns this crisis. He has been in office for almost two years. He can't keep blaming the lack of recovery on someone else. Especially when his brilliant economics team told us unemployment was going to peak at around 7% and the stimulus bill would create millions of new jobs and build countless roads and bridges. A new America. The endless rhetoric of politicians telling us all of the promises they will break at some point in the future.

Yes indeed employment reported this morning was down over 100,000 jobs supporting our view that third quarter GDP is going to be negative and that we are putting in a major top within financial markets. The global economy is in the process of its next leg down. This is no secret. We've been warning of this for months while the entire economics community, including everyone on the White House staff, fed us endless political happy talk.

To buttress the President's endless empty rhetoric, Nancy Pelosi uses her vast economics knowledge to impart upon us that unemployment benefits are a job creator. With such a deeply profound statement, I can't imagine why every American would not support the Democrat's vision of a new America. One where Nancy and Barack plan our lives with their incredibly brilliant knowledge of economics, the Constitution, the rule of law, democracy and self-determination, just to name a few.

Come to think of it, I was contemplating the construction of an OLED television plant around the corner from my house and thought to myself, "Self, you can do this because Nancy Pelosi is handing out unemployment benefits.". Or maybe I'll open a steel mill. Or I'll contract source the next iPhone since the factory in China that makes them is dealing with multiple suicides. Why even have anyone work? Maybe the more people on unemployment, the more jobs we will create. By the way, enjoy your iPhone knowing that people worked in such emotionally-distressing circumstances to make it that they would rather end their own lives. And that our brilliant Washington politicians, under the influence of their corporate masters, created trade policies that enrich so many lives around the world. Spreading American-style democracy and freedom are the only goals of a virtuous Washington politician. Hey, but it's not your problem anyway.

Pelosi is right about one thing. It's inhumane to cut off unemployment benefits. Especially because Washington politicians are exclusively responsible for our economic mess in the first place.
