If there is one thing that should coalesce in the  apolitical or nonpolitical mind, it is how literally stupid politicians are.  And that their involvement in science, just as their involvement in every other part of our life, is a horror movie of unprecedented magnitudes.  Algore should take the $200 million he swindled from the world for perpetuating his con job and go back to the cave from whence he came. 

Get politicians and politics out of science.  And, cancel your subscription to National Geographic for selling out science.
