Debt Deal Washington Style – Mammon Guarantees The Corporate War State Escapes Unscathed

Any time the two party monopoly agree to anything, democracy dies a little bit more.  Today, with stooges from both monopoly fascist parties agreeing to a “deal”, democracy died a little bit more….  all while corporate welfare and the war state escaped virtually unscathed.  (Both political parties are in fact registered  corporations, and monopolies at that, that keep a tight grip the entire election process and keep out competition using power and control.)

Until democracy, transparency and the rule of law are restored in Washington, every effort agreed to by the two party monopoly simply destroys democracy that much more.  NAFTA, “free” trade agreements, banking deregulation, spying on Americans, state-sponsored killings of suspected state enemies, social safety net cuts, offshoring, corrupt senior prescription plans, unfunded and illegitimate wars, financial reform, tax cuts for elites and corporations, health care reform and on and on.   Nothing intended, and I do mean nothing, of virtue can come out of any system where money is the primary motivator. N-o-t-h-i-n-g

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

And so you should never wonder why millions of American children live in poverty or go to bed hungry or why banks endlessly extort society for corrupt schemes and bid rigging or why a handful of elites have stolen all of our wealth or why someone you know is underemployed or unemployed or why tens of thousands of Americans with severe illness every year must choose between bankruptcy and death.  All the while the war state has endless money to wage war and the corporate state has endless money for corporate welfare.  Mammon reigns supreme in Washington.  Today, mammon again wins.
