Chevy Volt Pictures Released

It has been quite a while since I wrote about the Chevrolet Volt hybrid vehicle. This past weekend GM showed production pictures of the vehicle for the first time. The car looks significantly different than the concept but I believe the design is cleaner and more attractive.

The Volt is unique in that it uses electromotive technology that is so common in railroad locomotives. In other words, the internal combustion engine never turns the wheels.
