The Anniversary Of The Tiananmen Massacre - Today We Celebrate Those Who Seek Freedom And Those Who Died In The Communist Butchering In Beijing

The sacrifices made by the Chinese pro-Democracy students at Tiananmen Square should serve as a singular reminder that despite ephemeral economic progress, and limited social moderation, China remains a highly repressive, totalitarian state. Its abuse of human, cultural, political and religious rights, and ongoing oppression inside Tibet and East Turkestan demonstrate its disregard of international agreements on human rights, little has changed since freedom dared to announce herself in Tiananmen Square.

An interesting side note. Do you know who the man is third from the left in this picture (third picture from the top)? His name is not mentioned in the article. Well that would be Thomas J. Donohue, the CEO of the United States Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest spenders in the government-for-sale lobbyist cabal in Washington. If you ever listen to where the Chamber and Donohue, specifically, stands on social issues and issues of reform, you'll come to understand their role in the corporatocracy comparative to a functioning democracy of one citizen, one vote. Funny how one of the U.S.'s largest lobbyists is in a photo-op with our politicians and China's communist leaders, eh? What is that definition of fascism again? Of course, we all know he is there on behalf of his altruistic service to We the People. One citizen, one vote? Or big money, buy all the votes?

The United States, through its corporatist-driven China policies is complicit in the perpetuation of repression, tyranny and communism in China. But Saddam Hussein, now there was a bad guy. Now that the corporatocracy is minting money in Iraq, it's all good there as well.
