More Poisonous Products From The Land Of No Rule Of Law Courtesy Of Friendly Washington Politicians - W(hy)TF Are We Importing Drywall

when we can make a sheet for less than a dollar in the United States? To make it for 10 cents so a CEO can line his pockets by showing unsustainable profits regardless of the costs to society. It's that simple. And regardless of the cheap price of shoddy workmanship and quality, the costs are always enormous as any production engineer or black belt in lean manufacturing can easily explain in simple mathematical terms. Something most bureaucrats (CEOs and finance departments) are simply oblivious to. Just ask BP, who was concerned about price rather than cost. Any black belt in lean methods would have told you BP's Gulf crisis was predictable on some level given the evidence that is now coming out. In other words, BP must be knowingly negligent just as the importers of poisonous products are. Great human disasters are not unpredictable. They are a compendium of major mistakes we see as clues that build up over time. Skipping tests, using inferior pipe, skipping safety measures, having no contingency plans, etc. BP created this mess through its lack of adherence to rigorous standards that engineers would have surely demanded if unencumbered from bureaucratic mandates. In fact, all of the reasons for this global bust are really quite simply and explainable in simple mathematical terms via a time line of clues for those who were listening. Clues all provided by the timeless incompetence of bureaucrats.

Just remember our trade policies allowing the importation of countless poisonous goods from China are negotiated by Washington politicians on behalf of their corporate masters. Politicians (bureaucrats) aren't generally smart enough to pull their head out of their ass long enough to ask if what they are doing is to the benefit of We the People. All they know is what they are doing will further their personal goals most often enabled by anyone with a checkbook willing to buy political favor.

Kill corporate personhood with a constitutional amendment. Period. Has our President ever offered this? I know one Congressperson who has. Probably a few dozen out of 550 or so would openly support such a measure. All we need are one or five or ten good politicians in Washington to completely transform our government. But they must be in leadership positions. They must control the bully pulpit. Today, we have a completely leaderless government. There are some in Washington who would be leaders but they don't have the microphone.

It's good to be the king. Not much longer though.
