It's time for great reform of national security. Even if it is through process alone and not a conscious act, our military and security apparatus has become wildly corrupted by lobbyists and influence-peddling to politicians.

The only difference is our war machine is larger and our politicians arrogantly believe they are the world's police force and are willing and able to unilaterally do whatever they please to enforce our world vision without considering the consequences.
