A free society can never be free with a secret government. Instead, our republican government is replaced by the motives of the state. Shouldn’t a free society be informed of the issues so that it can make the appropriate decisions? Shouldn’t this report have been available to the American people rather than reading that it was leaked on a foreign news source? The empire and its endless secrecy is crumbling. That will eventually be good news for democracy.
The mounting cost of war. (These are hard numbers. There are no costs of loss of life either civilian or military or many other factors. As we cited on here before, the real number is substantially larger. It is now most likely approaching $4 trillion.)
